Shipping Policy – SSD Store

This Shipping Policy explains how we process; dispatch; and deliver orders placed on ssdstore.co.uk. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Shipping Regions

We currently ship orders within the United Kingdom. Some remote areas; islands; or postcodes may have longer delivery times or additional charges; any such costs will be shown at checkout where possible.

2. Dispatch Times

Orders are usually processed and dispatched on business days; Monday to Friday; excluding public holidays.

  • Orders placed before our cut off time are usually dispatched the same or next working day.
  • Orders placed after the cut off time; on weekends; or on public holidays are processed on the next working day.

Dispatch times may be affected by stock availability; security checks; or exceptionally busy periods.

3. Delivery Times

Delivery timeframes shown at checkout are estimates provided by our courier partners. Typical delivery aims:

  • Standard delivery: usually 1–3 working days from dispatch.
  • Express options may be available for an additional charge where shown at checkout.

These timeframes are not guaranteed and may vary due to courier delays; weather conditions; or other external factors.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination; service level; order size; and weight where applicable.

  • All applicable delivery charges are displayed before you complete payment.
  • If any free shipping promotions apply, they will be clearly stated on the website or at checkout.

6. Tracking and Delivery

Most orders are shipped using a tracked courier service.

  • Tracking details; where available; may be emailed to you once the order is dispatched.
  • Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are correct at the time of ordering.

7. Missed or Failed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt is missed, the courier may:

  • Attempt redelivery.
  • Leave the parcel at a local depot or collection point.
  • Return the parcel to us if it is not collected in time.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address; non collection; or repeated failed delivery attempts, we may charge additional shipping fees to resend the order. In some cases a refund may be issued minus the original shipping costs.

8. Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged; or if items are missing, please contact us as soon as possible and within 48 hours of delivery where you can, including photos of the packaging and contents.

This allows us to raise a claim with the courier and resolve the issue quickly.

9. Lost Parcels

In the rare event that a parcel is declared lost by the courier, we will either resend the goods or provide a refund, once the loss is confirmed in line with the courier’s policies.

10. Returns

For information on returns and refunds; including where to send returns, please refer to our Refund Policy. Returns should not be sent without following the return instructions provided by our support team.
