2. Warranty Coverage

Products purchased from SSD Store are supplied with any applicable manufacturer, supplier, or statutory warranty rights.

Many products include a manufacturer or supplier warranty. Warranty length and terms may vary by product, brand, and manufacturer.

Where a product develops a fault, we will assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a repair, replacement, credit, refund, or manufacturer/supplier handling in line with the product warranty and your statutory rights.

3. Manufacturer or Supplier Warranties

Some products may include extended or direct manufacturer warranties.

Where direct manufacturer RMA processing is available, we may direct you to the manufacturer or supplier route if this is the fastest or most appropriate way to resolve the issue.

This does not remove any statutory rights you may have against us as the retailer.

4. What Is Not Covered

Warranty handling may be refused or limited where the issue is caused by:

- Accidental or physical damage.
- Liquid damage, burn marks, or electrical damage.
- Incorrect installation, misuse, modification, or improper handling.
- Electrostatic discharge or damage caused during installation.
- Tampering, attempted repair, or unauthorised modification.
- Removed, altered, damaged, or unreadable serial numbers.
- Use with incompatible systems, components, firmware, software, or power supplies.
- Normal cosmetic wear that does not affect functionality.
- Damage caused after delivery by events outside our control.

This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described, or otherwise do not meet legal requirements.

5. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To start a warranty claim, email:

support@ssdstore.co.uk

Please include:

- Your order number.
- Product name and MPN/SKU.
- Serial number, where applicable.
- Description of the issue.
- Photos or video where helpful.
- Details of any troubleshooting already attempted.

6. Testing and Assessment

Returned items may be tested by us, our fulfilment partner, supplier, or the manufacturer.

After assessment:

- Confirmed faults may be repaired, replaced, credited, refunded, or handled through the manufacturer/supplier warranty process, depending on the product and circumstances.
- Items with no fault found may be returned to you.
- Items damaged outside warranty conditions may be rejected or returned unrepaired.
- Where a product is no longer available, we may offer an equivalent replacement, credit, or another remedy where appropriate.

7. Processing Time

We aim to handle warranty claims as quickly as possible.

Typical timeframes may be:

- 3–5 working days where we can resolve the issue from available stock.
- 7–14 working days where supplier or manufacturer testing is required.

Some warranty cases may take longer depending on the manufacturer, supplier, courier, testing process, or availability of replacement stock.

8. Proof of Purchase

A valid SSD Store order confirmation, invoice, or proof of purchase is required for warranty claims.

9. Return Address for Warranty Items

Please contact us before sending any item back. We will provide return instructions.

Where a return is authorised, items may be sent to:

Lama Fulfilment
K2 Distribution Centre
Shuttleworth Mead Business Park

United Kingdom

Please package items safely, including anti-static packaging where relevant. You are responsible for ensuring goods are suitably protected in transit.

10. Data on Storage Devices

If you return a storage device, such as an SSD or hard drive, you are responsible for backing up and removing any personal or business data before sending it to us where possible.

Warranty testing, repair, replacement, or manufacturer processing may result in data loss.

We are not responsible for loss of data, so please back up important files before returning a storage device.

11. Your Statutory Rights

This Warranty Policy operates alongside your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Nothing in this policy limits or removes your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection laws.
